If your Keurig machine is not brewing the amount of coffee you expect, the chances are that debris and coffee grounds have clogged the water line… After unclogging the water line, you should start getting the full dose of coffee like before.

The easy way is to get a bendy straw, cover the valve with water, hold reservoir up so that you can push bendy straw into bottom of valve then blow with your mouth until air and bubbles flow through the valve. You may get a little damp but not too bad. This fixed my Keurig immediately.

Keurig Only Brews a Little Bit of Coffee. Oh no! Only half a cup! What could be worse? Luckily, a Keurig only brewing a small amount of coffee is easily fixed. Chances are there is either not enough water in the reservoir, or the water isn’t making it through the machine properly, meaning the machine needs to be descaled.

Solution 1 – Keurig Descale and Clean Sometimes a brewer can start to only brew a partial cup. This problem is generally the result of the brewer not being cleaned and in particular the exit needle being clogged with coffee or other grounds from the different K-Cup portions.

About 4-6 months after buying the K70 Keurig, the coffee maker will only brew about 2 ounces of coffee, even using the largest cup option. The coffee maker has been cleaned several times & nothing seems to help.

A short cup occurs when your Keurig® brewer doesn’t brew the brew size selected and may be caused by a clogged needle (clogged by coffee grounds or cocoa mix), need to descale, or the reservoir being removed during brew. To correct a short cup, please try the below steps: Materials Needed: Measuring Cup; Mug; Beverage Pod; Troubleshooting Steps:

Instructions: When your brewer stops brewing, one likely culprit is a tiny coffee ground clogging the "out" hole the coffee goes through. If you open up your Keurig, you'll see (or feel) a sharp needle in the top half (think where the top of the K-cup would be). That needle has a tiny hole in it.

This means if the K-cup isn’t equipped with a white ring circling the edge, the Keurig will simply not brew that cup. And that is what displays the “oops” error message. It translates “oops, the pack cannot be used in this brewer. Please use one of the many Keurig brewed seal packs available out there.”
