Many times a Keurig will shut off while brewing because the K-Cup hasn't been punctured on the bottom by the needle in the K-Cup basket. It can also shut off as a result of a clogged brew needle, faulty outlet, or misaligned water reservoir magnet.

If there is no moon icon on your screen, but your brewer has been shutting off by itself, unplug the power cord, plug back in and select the power button (this may require resetting the clock). If that doesn't work, please call Keurig® Customer Service at 1-866-901-BREW (2739).

To check if the magnet in the water reservoir is out of place remove the water reservoir and lid, and then use your hand to realign the magnet.
Help, my Keurig Keeps Turning Off / Shutting Off. Internal contacts can cause an issue where your Keurig does not stay turned on. For instance, once you remove the water canister, you have to place it back in the machine correctly. If you fail to do that, the machine will keep shutting off as the machine does not sense any reservoir for fresh water.
Your Keurig machine may come with an auto shut off feature. Some machines may shut off after 2 hours of non-usage while most will stop working after 90 seconds. It brews very slowly, most noticeably on the kcup settings. The motor seems to kick on for about a second at a time, like it's trying but can't pump water through.
