Increase bit by bit per day, and eventually, by the second week, I could drink up to a gallon of water. I infused my water with lime, so it felt refreshing. Exercising helped as well because it got me super thirsty. I am now actually used to drinking a gallon of water per day. When I drink less water, my lips get dry again.
