How much alcohol do you need for 100 guests? For a 4 hour party with 100 guests, you will need approximately 400 drinks: 160 beers, 144 glasses of wine (29 bottles) and enough for 96 individual cocktails (amounts will depend upon what type of cocktail you serve). If you arenā€™t serving wine, plan on 240 cocktails.

When entering your information in the wedding drink calculator you will want to make sure the beer, wine, and liquor percentage together add up to 100%. This will provide a more accurate calculation. There will always be some people who will drink all three but the majority of the time guests tend to stick with one type of alcohol.

Flag. I'll just say that for my daughter's wedding, which was a beer and wine bar, the calculator told them to buy about 90 bottles of wine for 150 people. They didn't end up buying 90, but they did buy cases of it, and the reception ended up with only 4 bottles of wine consumed. Not sure how much of the beer keg was used.
