It is not recommended to drink alcohol when you are using Nyquil, especially if you’re taking Nyquil Liquid, which already contains some alcohol. Nyquil contains acetaminophen and doxylamine, and both react badly with alcohol.

Alcohol and NyQuil: Nyquil has alcohol so the effect would be additive. I probably would avoid using nyquil when i was drinking. Be safe.
