One thing that I do know absolutely triggers my D is alcohol. If I drink, without fail, the next morning I will be sick. I have discovered that if I take 2 Imodium before I start drinking, this usually makes my morning BM much more normal, and often completely free of D.

alcohol is really hard to handle with IBS. I find that sometimes I can handle some drinks, but sometimes within the first couple of sips you notice that its not going to go down well. If you feel well enough it is possible to drink alcohol with IBS in my opinion, but it always leaves me with a sore gut the next couple days. Not really worth it.
