Can I get drunk from Non-Alcoholic beer (less than or equal to 0.5% ABV)? The short answer would be NO . Pistonhead Non-Alcoholic is currently available at Tesco, 4 for £4.

Can you even get drunk on low-alcohol (up to 0.5%) “non-alcoholic” and “alcohol-free” beer, such as O’Doul’s, Beck’s Blue and Heineken 0.0? In theory, 10 x 0.5% beers equal one 5% beer. However, you can’t get drunk on non-alcoholic beer (up to 0.5%) if you’re a healthy adult.

In fact, the amount of alcohol in 0.5% drinks is so small that it’s impossible to get anywhere near drunk on 0.5% drinks, no matter how many you have. (The same goes for orange juice and bananas…)

Continue Reading. I can’t. No, I’m not superman and am certainly no match for some legendary drinkers such as Andre the Giant who weighed over 500-lbs yet could still get drunk from “only” drinking a 5% alc. beverage (though in his case, he typically needed to drink around 100 cans!).

Looked at yet another way is that a 5% can has about one-and-a-half times more alcohol than a 3% can. So for every 2 beers you have of the 5%, you need to drink 3 beers of the 3.2%. Your body metabolizes alcohol at a constant rate.
