Oh, if you haven’t figured it out by now, you can’t get drunk off of sugar alcohol. And if you try to, you’re going to have much bigger problems. Personally, I’d rather you cheat on your diet the right way than to consistently eat sugar alcohols. Getting fit requires more than eating a certain lower calorie, lower carb foods.

It’s frightening to think about really because not only are alcoholism and sugar addiction related, but sugar addiction can in and of itself be dangerous. Eating too much sugar contributes to so many chronic diseases including various cancers, and also obesity.

Your subconscious has been hijacked. With alcohol, the drunk may experience physical, relationship, job or legal consequences of a traumatic or serious nature. While this is unlikely to happen because of sugar addiction, we are learning more and more about the consequences of sugar abuse. I will write about this in more detail in another post.

Alcohol is a depressant and it will help you feel a little less stressed only as long as you can keep the first 2 minutes of the buzz going and in order to do that, each time it wil require more alcohol, until it kills you.
