Agreed with no problem using those individual alcohol wipes. I usually just breathe on my screen and wipe it off on my clean shirt. The curve and softness of my belly conforms to the phone shape and usually gets it clean. tube517, lunatic59, Jfalls63 and 2 others like this.

The answer is to not REGULARLY use alcohol to wipe your screen. We use 70% alcohol pads with very light pressure before polishing screens with Kimwipes, a one time use microscope cleaning cloth. You will do absolutely no damage to the coating if you us an alcohol pad once. I probably wipe down my own phone with 70% alcohol about once a month.

Alternatively, use 70 percent isopropyl alcohol wipes or Clorox disinfectant wipes to effectively clean your phone. Phone makers say to avoid using products like bleach, hand sanitizer and products such as Lysol sprays because those can damage the screen.

Using a 70 percent isopropyl alcohol wipe or Clorox Disinfecting Wipes, you may gently wipe the exterior surfaces of your iPhone. Don't use bleach. Avoid getting moisture in any openings, and don't submerge your iPhone in any cleaning agents.

You can clean your phone screen and sanitize it by using a mixture of 60% distilled water and 40% isopropyl rubbing alcohol. Just moisten a small corner of your cleaning cloth with the mixture, and gently wipe the screen from top to bottom. But, make sure not to dampen your cloth too much. Use an Ultra Violet (UV) Sanitizer

You can also use a disinfectant, such as a hypochlorous acid-based solution (containing 50-80ppm) or an alcohol-based solution (containing more than 70% ethanol or isopropyl alcohol). Do not apply these liquid solutions directly to your device; they should be carefully applied to a microfiber cloth instead.
