My local Wal-Mart, in Mountain Home ID, says it's Wal-Mart policy is that the cashier, at their discretion, can deny you the purchase of alcohol if the persons with you do not have their ID and look under 40. This includes your baby, teenager, spouse, siblings, parents or friend. On a typical Thursday afternoon I needed to pick up a few things, groceries included, so I of course, chose Wal-Mart. Drug my husband along with me because I didn't want to go alone.
