The sale of alcohol in Turkey is strictly regulated by the time of day. You cannot buy alcohol from shops between 10 pm to 6 am, however, alcohol can still be sold in bars, restaurants, and hotels 24 hours a day.

Alcohol is not cheap in Turkey and most people buy in the Airport at the Duty Free. Migros as said sells a lot of wine and spirits. We have found a few Turkish Wines we like. We pay around 25-35TL per bottle. One wine we buy for 26TL was priced at 65TL in a restaurant we visited. Restaurants put a high mark up on alcohol.

larose, No need to bring liqueur into Turkey. You can buy them from the duty free shops (and they are huge) at the carousels area where you retrieve your luggage. You can go thru customs after you make your purchases.
