What time can you buy alcohol on Sunday in New Mexico? A new law takes effect June 14 allowing liquor to be sold at 11 a.m. rather than noon. However, the change only applies to bars and restaurants. Noon remains the Sunday starting time for buying liquor at supermarkets, convenience stores and other locations for off-premise consumption.
