Our bourbon barrel aged red wine is fermented in American stainless steel and then aged for 3 months in Kentucky bourbon barrels. This bold blend of Zinfandel, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Sauvignon provide a deep ruby color with aromas of blackberry compote, leather and dusty dark chocolate.

There’s black cherries and blackberries with the rum barrels adding the sweet/savoury complexity of molasses. Intensely concentrated on the palate and full bodied. Mouthfilling with seamless tannins coated in lashings of black fruit and sweet, spicy liquorice. A hint of dark chocolate lingers, as does the warming alcohol.

Barrel aging is a key process in wine and spirits production.
